WHY DELTA FIRE?

When protecting petrochemical exploration, processing and storage plants, fire suppression systems must be able to withstand a hostile and highly corrosive environment while being easy to maintain. Our systems are designed to respond quickly to fires that often develop rapidly with high rates of heat release. We understand that external help is unlikely to arrive in time to prevent a blaze from developing into a life and asset-threatening inferno, so merely containing a fire until help arrives is not an option.
  • Our team has years of industry experience, and our skills are continually being refined and improved through ongoing training
  • All products meet international standards and conform to and often exceed all current Australian standards
  • We offer support throughout the entire process from design to procurement through to commissioning
  • Customised asset protection
  • Nationwide service
  • Service is always attentive and personal with one point of contact saving you time
  • Full after-sales support service
Whatever your business and fire protection needs, Delta Fire has a nationwide team of technical experts to advise you

Safeguarding high-hazard facilities

Fires can have a devastating impact on high-hazard industrial, manufacturing and commercial facilities. For sites such as petrochemical and gas plants, airports, marine ports, manufacturing facilities and oil refineries, the presence of high fuel loads means the fire danger is at the extreme end of the scale.

RESULTS

Ampol

The Caltex oil refinery, on banks of the Brisbane River, is a high-hazard environment where crude oil is refined into petrol, diesel, jet fuel and base oils for lubricants and specialist products that include liquid petroleum gas (LPG) and bitumen.  Due to this process, the site needs reliable and effective firefighting measures and constant diligence.

PROJECTS

Puma Energy

Puma Energy

Puma EnergyDelta Fire conducted a series of due diligence reports for its terminals in Queensland. The Puma project involved the inspection and testing of three key fuel terminals, as well as the company’s fire-fighting and foam fire-suppression capabilities.

Inpex

Inpex, a leading independent global oil and gas explorer and producer worked with Delta Fire for engineering support and testing of fire suppression systems.

BHP Billiton

Delta Fire supplied foam hardware as well as providing engineering support, testing and maintenance for BHP.

BP Australia

Delta Fire supplied foam and foam hardware as well as providing engineering support, testing and maintenance for BP.

Caltex

Delta Fire supplied foam and foam hardware as well as providing engineering support, testing and maintenance for Caltex.

Viva Energy

Viva Energy makes imports and delivers fuels, lubricants and chemicals from their Geelong Refinery. They supply over 10 % of Australia’s fuel and more than 50 % of all the fuel used in Victoria. Delta fire supplied foam, foam hardware, engineering support as well as testing and maintenance fto protect the refinery from fire.

RESULTS

AMPOL

How did Delta Fire work with Ampol to supply the refinery with a wide selection of world-class firefighting agent delivery systems that are always ready to use?
