Caboolture Bus Lines is a Queensland operator of urban services, school buses, charter services and Bribie Island Coaches buses. As an accredited Translink provider the safety of their passengers and drivers is critical.
They approached Delta Fire as their fleet of Diesel Passenger Buses need a fire suppression system that had to comply with Government rules and regulations. Caboolture Bus Lines had to find a safety solution that was compliant and reliable.
Solution
A thorough risk assessment determined that the Amerex VS DC Fire Suppression System would offer everything they were looking for. As a bus fire can lead to passenger and driver injury as well as costly damage and operational delays, the Amerex system will safeguard their fleet.
The system features linear or spot detection devices which are located in at-risk areas of the vehicles.
Delta Fire also provided training for the bus lines technicians on the Amerex VS DCP Installation and Commissioning and assisting in n Amerex VS DCP Fire Suppression System and Commissioning.
Outcome
Delta Fire’s recommendation to use the Amerex VS Fire Suppression system ensure that the fleet of buses, passengers and driver are fully protected.
